The world of Wa is vast and diverse, with many cultures and styles of magic, many peoples and their glorious cities, and many virtues and ideals.   The land of Taikoku, dominated by mountain ranges, rivers, verdant valleys and dense forests is ruled over by an Emperor and a Shogun. It is a society ruled by its rigid class structure, but is often contradictory in nature, with lords rising up through the ranks and the Emperor granting Ronin the right to the name of a minor clan. It is a densely populated country and this, combined with a history of conflict dating back to the beginning of recorded history, leads to frequent civil conflict between clans, and sometimes within clans. Despite this, there can be found within Taikoku some of the most peaceful and spiritual sanctuaries in all of Wa.   The land of Byung-Tan is so vast it sports nearly every climate and terrain you could think of, from jungles and swamps to steep wind carved mountains and empty deserts. The people of Byung-Tan are ruled over by an Emperor, who delegates his power to regional Dukes. Byung-Tan is so vast its populations contain several different and distinct ethnic groups, rich with a thousand years of tradition and they claim to be the first peoples in Wa.   The land of Rudao Mona is made up with a large central mountain form, the focus of the local religion, central surrounding plains and coastal jungles. It was founded as a colony of Byung-Tan but soon after (and with much conflict) they were able to broker their freedom. They are ruled by a King, though he is ostensibly advised by a group of nobles who are elected to a council by landowners, making Rudao Mona a Republican Monarchy and one of the strangest political landscapes in all of Wa. The vast majority of the country is rural and much of it is still under the tribal rule of the indigenous people, who are legally recognized and protected by the King.
