The Aether's Burn is the sickness that began eating away at the southwestern edge of Apattla. It killed and overtook all natural life and caused it to crumble or petrify, leaving behind a wasteland of death and crystallised nature. It's spread was impossible to stop, until Astros touched down and stopped it, at Astros' Descent .
The area has not started recovering yet.
