Weeper

Summary

Weepers are a form of undead in Kalgitian Mythology that repeat their last words (or screams) before they died. There are few different accounts of how weepers are created, some believe they have unfinished business with the living, vengeful undead that hunt those that wronged them. Others think it's some sort of disease of the brain.

Variations & Mutation

There are differing views on what weepers are actually like. Mindless undead that seek to eat the living. Walking corpses that follow their murderers, uttering their final words to guilt them. Vengeful, decaying bodies that hunt those that wronged them.
In all variations of the story the moral is clear; Refrain from gathering grudges, or they'll come back to haunt you.
