The Kalgitian calendar.

The Kalgitian calendar has 12 months, and is used by most countries.   1. Febronok - Named after Febrü, the god of gifts and thanks. Februteia takes place during this month.   2. Lenok - Named after Leno, the god of war. There is a festival that calls for a truce in any ongoing war, a week of peace and celebration.   3. Ebhok - Named after Ebhos, the godess of life and death. It is a common birthday for many people, and also a common time of death.   4. Lein - Named after Leia, the godess of plants. Lein marks the beginning of Spring or Autumn.   5. Zorin - Named after Zoria, the beloved ruler of ancient Kalgitia   6. Zosan - Named after Zosai the god of the swords. The festival of Zosailem takes place during this month. An ancient sparring contest and celebration of swordsmanship.   7. Jiomin - Named after Jiom, the god of the clouds. Jiomin brings the beginning of the lifsho migration, they can be seen at night, making the sky sparkle in streaks as they fly towards the sunrise. In Nylicert firework displays are created. There is a good historical reason for this other than it being pretty, but I'll not get into it here.   8. Dygdemon - Named after Dygdemi, a sort of anti-god which physically manifests itself as a gargantuan black cloud in the night sky, which seems to swallow up the stars.   9. Ystonok - Named after Ystof, the god of weather. Summer and winter begin around this time.   10. Ryvinok - Named after Ryviton, god of light and darkness.   11. Tisilnok - Named after Tisilka, the god of the hunt.   12. Zeronok - Named after Zero, the god of sacrifice. Zero sacrifices himself fighting Dygdemi each year so that the world may live for another year. Zeroteia takes place during this month, a religious festival. Feasts, worship, the odd sacrifice. It's a festival celebrating the gods and cheering their struggle against Dygdemi.
