MyrVeskad/Mire walkers

The MyrVeskad or Mire Walker was a tank designed by a famous Tukmyr inventor. It used spider like legs to move through the soft, boggy ground that Tukmyr territory is so known for.   Mire walkers usually aren't that big, and have only a few seats for passengers. Some have guns attached, along with extra armour plating to protect the occupants. The most common aren't fully enclosed, usually only having a simple fabric roof to protect from rain.   The inventor took inspiration from the large, spider like mammals that roamed the swamps. These beasts were not suitable for humans to tame, and were very dangerous.     MyrVeskads required skill to use, as even in the swamps the legs could get caught on things. Larger versions were used to help build a proper road system after the unification wars. The Tukmyr lands did have pathways, but they were not suitable for cars, leaving the many small settlements to be isolated from the modern world.   As roads became more commonplace in Tukmyr, Mire walkers became obsolete. They were used as more of an interesting and antique form of transport, hobbyists still built their own for personal use, but they never saw widespread use again.
