Februteia

Februteia is a yearly celebration, all about giving thanks to each other. It's quite similar to christmas. The celebration is named for Febru, the god of gifts and thanks.

History

In Ancient Kalgitia slaves were kept, and some masters decided to treat their slaves by giving them gifts and a week of rest. It became a tradition, and most people celebrated it. The month of Februnok was added to the calendar.

Execution

The celebration itself lasts for a couple of days, but affects a whole week. The first 2 days of the week are for giving gifts to friends or family to show your appreciation of them, just like the Masters gave gifts to their slaves. The rest of the week is for rest or celebration, most people stay off work.

Components and tools
