Bear / Heipa
Heipas are basically just bears. They hibernate half of the year and eat meat. They are more social than bears though, hibernating in groups, rather than alone.
Basic Information
Dietary Needs and Habits
Mostly meat, some vegetables.
Biological Cycle
Hibernation occurs once a year during the coldest months. Heipas will travel to their place of birth where they socialise, hunt, and perhaps find a mate. This happens before and after each hibernation period.
Additional Information
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Their fur and meat are sold worldwide.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Mostly in the north and south.
Lifespan
65 years
Conservation Status
Heipas are hunted for their thick, warm fur. Some countries ban this unless it's to keep their numbers in check.
