Spellflower

The spellflower is an extremely rare plant, sought after for its magical abilities. Most often cultivated as magical guardians, this rare Chultan flower has the ability to absorb spells cast in its presence. Once the spellflower has absorbed a spell, it can release it at will. Spellflowers are quite fragile, and can be easily destroyed as they are sensitive to extreme changes in temperature. Wild spellflowers are incredibly dangerous and unpredictable, and they will release spells randomly. Domesticated varieties of spellflower can be trained, and patient owners have been known to train a spellflower to release magic using a command or trigger.
