PC: Sir Braxis Lightsworn
Dragonborn Paladin of Solios.
Appearance
Sir Braxis is a 6' 5", 140 kg blue Dragonborn. He has 2 notable horns on the top of his head, with blue scales. He is adorned in traditional gold and silver plate armour, that which is worn by Holy Warriors of Solios. He has a two-handed greatsword, with a golden hilt.Personality
Braxis is overwhelmingly positive, trying to keep his demeanour as a hero on display every waking moment he can. He is often scared in some situations he has been in, deep down, but will never allow himself to show that when around others who are frightened. He doesn't mind being disrespected by Humans, since that is their free will and he will die to defend their right to that. However, if their disrespect starts to impede on other's, he will take action to put them in their place.History
Braxis's first memory was being given a wooden sword by his Father, Harald Kargard, and being told "The Song of King Eallor". Harald's prime holdout in Kargardia, called Landsfall, is where Braxis was raised. He grew up in the environment of combat, often being left in the care of the local Imperial Blades, who work very closely with Harald to keep order in the island nation. Growing up around such self-righteous, honorable and upstanding soldiers, Braxis wanted nothing more than to become a great hero of the people. He was always held back by his appearance, as the Humans around him often judge him before he gets a chance to act, as he can look similar to Gargans. However, Braxis never let that hold him back. He finished basic training with the Blades but always remembered "The Song of King Eallor". Braxis wanted to begin living that mantra, and to help everyone he can in Vordrelm. Braxis journeyed to Andredia to be inducted as a Holy Warrior in the Church of Solios by Consecrate Riboli. He was knighted and given the surname "Lightsworn" as becoming a Holy Warrior makes you family to Solios, and no-one else, so they replace your surname with "Lightsworn". Always prevalent in the back of Braxis's mind, is the vague origin of his birth and his people, as he has never come across another Dragonborn. When Braxis was around 8, he questioned Harald about himself. "Where am I from Father?", Braxis would ask. The Duke would give a low grumble, and begin to speak; "She came from the mist over the southern seas, your birth mother. She was gravely injured and was missing an eye. She approached the southern edge of Kargardia in a small row boat, how she braved the seas in such a vessel I will never know. She reaches the shore, takes 3 steps and collapses. That's when we see you tumble from her arms, in nothing but a cloth. With her dying breath, she asks me to look after you. My men and I have explored the southern sea from where she came and found nothing for miles, so it is as if she appeared from thin air. I'm sorry boy, that's all I have to reveal to you." In Braxis's future travels, he wishes to reveal his secretive heritage, as well as spread the good will of Solios wherever he may go.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
