Prince Hendrick II
The father of High Queen Lilia and the Ruler before her. The youngest of three brothers, he was elected king by the people. His father had realised that he would be most fit to be king but couldn’t just skip his elder brothers in the lineage and so he organised an election of who should rule out of the brothers. He abdicated the throne when his oldest child came of age but acted as regent in accordance to her wishes for a few years afterwards.Queen-Mother Maria of the Isles
She was Hendrick II’s Queen consort and co-ruler. As daughter of Prince Richard IX of the Isles, she was of noble blood but didn’t have an actual title. She is very motherly and, in her youth, worked as a midwife in the isles.High Queen Lilia
The oldest child of Maria and Hendrick II. She was blessed by the Druid at birth, giving her the traits of a half-elf. As a highly skilled fighter, she often joins the Royal Guard in training and patrols. During the Frost Wars she was also the general of the army.Prince Nael
He has dedicated his life to serve Nisin. As a child he got horribly sick and to help him, priests summoned a benevolent spirit to inhabit his body. This spirit sometimes fully takes over and speaks in cryptic riddles that predict the future.Remarkable Past Members
High King Merk I
Merk Sommergard was ruler of one of the independent territories that occupied the lands of modern Lesea. He underwent an arduous journey and united the people under him. He named his kingdom after his lover and adventuring companion Lesea who had died on their journey. Many a king is named after the hero-king.High King Bastian III
High King Bastion III was not a particularly good ruler but he also wasn't bad. This is one of the reasons why it rocked the world so much when his reign was cut short by The Crimson Regicide infiltrating the First Royal Palace and killing all creatures within it.
