An Illones takes 12 years to grow from seed to a fully formed adult. The first 3 months it remains as a seed, growing from the bottom of the seed a foetus starts to sprout. From there it goes to a toddler in its first 2 years. The third-year yields an Illones child (The equivalent of a ten-year-old human), from then on it goes through a young adult phase until it’s the twelfth year in which it is a fully grown adult.
