The Mage's Revolt
The group of mages that defected from the Skiffor Druids, known as The Renegades, gathered enough recourses to overthrow the Druidic Order.
The Conflict
Prelude
The leader of the rebellion, Halfith Jorstag, approached the tower to request a peaceful transfer of power. The Druids did not agree to the terms.
Deployment
The Renegades ambushed the tower, posing as simple pilgrims. They used their individual mastery of specific magic skills to their advantage to mask and create distractions in order to get onto the land.
Battlefield
The battle took place around and within the Skiffor Tower. The land there is very open, allowing for minimal natural cover. This required the Renegades to use their unique skills to their advantage.
Conditions
The battle was fought on a clear day, with no harsh heat or cold. It was very rare to get any poor weather in this part of Tsiki.
The Engagement
The battlefield appeared unorganized, an array of spells and magical weapons left their marks on the tower. The Renegades made quick work of detaining and restraining all minor druids. They had no need to kill those who were once as they were, they were after the Council.
Once inside, the leaders of the rebellion had worked on taking out the members of the counsel currently in focus, channeling The Barrier. With this, the barrier fell, and only 3 of the casters remained, along with the members of the council not casting, and the Elder Druid.
The Elder Druid surrendered once the Barrier fell, not wanting it to stay down for long. They allowed the focussing stone, the large stone floating in the centre of the tower, to be bonded to those who desired from the rebellion. He had resigned and was simply put in a position of permanent meditation for casting the Barrier, as were the rest of the Council.
Outcome
With the collapse of the Barrier, many people and creatures made their way into Tsiki land. This would be swiftly rectified as the military efficiently rounded up any tresspassers.
Aftermath
Those with Magic Potential were still requested to learn at Skiffor, however, they were not forced. They were allowed to retain their identity and seek relationships. The overall use of magic was mostly forbidden in many parts of the world, but Tsiki prospered with the new laws.
Historical Significance
Legacy
Those with Magic Potential within Tsiki were praised rather than punished. All those within Tsiki had a gift many sought after, with none of the repercussions they would have endured otherwise.
