The Blade Guardians
The Blade Guardians were an order of powerful warriors that was founded after the events of the 1st Age of Vitallia. The Guardians were swordsmen of great power who took a sacred vow not to allow the strong to tyrannize the weak, and their powerful nature provided them with the means to match such opponents. However, after their demise, the order seized to exist, since its founders were uniquely powerful individuals who could not be replaced. A group of inspired people that call themselves Acolytes seems to try to resurrect the old ethos of the honored order and thus, small groups of zealots have revitalized the concept and have once again taken up swords against evil.

Upon the stone, the blade I bind, Steadfast 'gainst storms, like earth's firm rind. In flames, I scribe an eternal decree, Borne through years, to my blood set free. With life's essence, on the steel I swear, For the hopeful child, in sword's glimmering glare. In the soil, he sank, though he longed to remain, Light flickered out, as he fought in vain. For what he battled, a fading ember, Witnessed by the blade, an oath to remember. In solemn blood, the pledge engraved, A timeless covenant, by the sword, enslaved.
