Arthur Wisteria is an infamous criminal that primarily operates in the areas bordering the Forest of Dasev. A successful arms smuggler and dealer, Arthur Wisteria is known to utilize the Forest of Dasev's toxic ethereal properties to elude capture, while possessing means of not only appeasing the Forest, but appeasing its denizens, allowing him to maintain a base of operations in the area.
A charismatic and calculating young man, Arthur Wisteria maintains his slice of his weapons empire by operating through multiple proxies, enabling him to acquire and distribute various arms and other military materiel through various front companies.
He is an international criminal, and is wanted by the Kingdom of Mithambe, the Republic of Moume, the Principality of Whitlexia, and the Kingdom of Sherland - all for charges in relation to his primary means of business. His arms smuggling has fueled various pocket conflicts throughout the world of Vinesia, including the Cleolinian-Sherlandic riots, the rise of radical Moumeans, and the destabilization of the Braitix family regime in the Principality of Whitlexia. The various governments that wish to see him stopped have invested significant resources to not only apprehend him and take him into custody, but to dismantle his various powerbases and front companies.
For all his infamy, he is also considered a local hero to the non-human communities that reside near the borders of the Fatebreaker Forest, particularly when dealing with slave traffickers and slave catchers. Finding them abhorrent and overly cruel, Arthur spares no expense in killing said kinds of people, even if it exposes him to the risk of capture. To those who he has rescued, he is a savior and hero in no light sense of the word, and they provide him with the means to continue and prolong his newly found business.

Arthur is in top physical condition, and is considered combat capable.
Identifying Characteristics
A scar, left behind by the fangs of a Dasevan Webweaver, adorns the bridge of his nose.
Apparel & Accessories
Constantly on the move and usually presenting himself to high-end clientele, Arthur dresses smartly and lightly. He is often found wearing dark colored jeans or cotton pants, a buttoned shirt, and a dark leather jacket. His shoes, although designed for the field, are well-polished and can be worn in formal company.
Specialized Equipment
Arthur has taken some equipment from his time in the Knights, as well as acquired throughout the course of some of his criminal dealings. Though most are sold for the right amount of compensation, a few items have found themselves in his possession, including:
- Azntyr: His blade Azntyr functions not only as his primary close combat weapon, but also as a storage for his wand, which is hidden in the blade's hollow hilt. Made from Jasali Firesteel, it is a potent weapon against enemies vulnerable to fire, particularly the undead;
- Ainsit: Ainsit is his wand, which is usually kept in the hilt of Azntyr. Measuring 20 centimeters in overall length, the wand is made from darkened ironwood, with a core of Sylvern scale, and is capped with Atxian Starsilver rings. Normally utilized for Arthur's potioneering, it is still a potent device with which Arthur is capable of projecting large workings and invocations with little issue;
- Arthur also carries a prototype Darsati Systems XR-72 "Aftercore" rifle, which fires a 5mm cored round containing crushed Fire-aligned etherdust, and capped with a pyrophoric penetrator. It is designed to take out light vehicles with little issue, and is devastating against infantry.

Arthur is a graduate of Inverdale Academy Knight program, having achieved Professional certifications in mechanical engineering and potioneering. His Knight qualifications were considered excellent, with Exceptional denotations in unarmed combat, ranged combat, and mechanized warfare.
Employment
Arthur became self-employed in 1890, shortly after the Faulkner Square bombing that killed June and her husband, Hector. He effectively abandoned his posting with the Order of the Flame, and took to his newly found calling with gusto, applying what he knew and making a business in the criminal underworld.
Morality & Philosophy
To him, if it must be done, it will be done, and any regulation or stipulation that stops him will be damned and pushed aside. He has openly flouted laws passed purely to stop his business, sometimes even mailing transcripts of legitimate deals to the Mithambian Legislature - with a message outright calling them cowards for not taking the threat of the Neo-Louthian Empire seriously, and that he is doing what they will not.
Taboos
Arthur is a disgraced Knight, having abandoned his oath of allegiance to pursue his singular desire to see the Neo-Louthian Empire crushed and trampled, in retaliation for his loss at their hands. He is considered an oathbreaker and a traitor to the Mithambian people.

Motivation
Arthur's primary motivation is to prepare others for the resurgence of the corruptible ideology that comprises the Louthian Empire, and its Neo-Louthian sycophants. Because he found himself unable to perform according to his own views while bound by decorum and law, he abandoned those to get war materiel to those who were already engaged in the fight.

Relationship Reasoning
Never having an older brother to lean on and learn from, Arthur took to Hector quickly. Hector, with his experience in having Joseph and Jacob as younger siblings, quickly adopted Arthur as yet another young sibling to take care of and to mentor, cementing their relationship until Hector's untimely death in 1890.
