Pale Strait

The Pale Strait is the narrow waterway between the northernmost tip of the A'Mi Peninsula and the southernmost tip of Pale Island. The straits are a busy trade intersection for boats wishing to bypass unprofitable ports of Pale Island and is noted as part of the Great Route, whch states that:

After rounding the western spur one must sail north, past the small fishin villages hidden away in the highland coasts of the Western A'Mi Duchies. Then, if one has a particular taste for fish and black magic, one may consider bypassing the Pale Strait and instead circle the curious Pale Island, though do not be discouraged by the gruffness of the locals. If, instead, one choses to make the shortest route to the much more profitable eastern shores then one should pass through the Pale Strait, though be mindful of A'Mi Tolls. - The Great Route
