Merchant State of No Kil
The Merchant State of No Kil is the farthest north of the Great merchant states and the only one north of the Trans-Vi'Dan Mountain Range. It has grown wealthy by exporting rich natural resources to the southern states and importing southern manufactured goods to be sold in the north. It is the ancestral homeland of the No people and provides them with a sheltered existance, bordered by mountains on land. No Kil also has an advantage from its natural propagation of Tranquillomancy, which naturally calms the mind and reduces violent tendencies. Skilled Tranquillomages are able to pacify large groups of people at once and have been capable of stopping entire armies in the past. No Kil contains within its borders the Odome, the epicentre of Tranquillomagic energy.
