ARTICLES OF UNION OF THE UNITED A'MI DUCHIES
SECTION ONE - THE UNITED A'MI DUCHIES
1. The United A'Mi Duchies are defined as the lands of people of majority A'Mi descent, more specifically the Duchies of Ul'As'As, Mi'Bi'Kan, Ir'Ra'Ben, Vi'Vi'Am, Co'La'Vo, Va'Von, Mi'Na'A, In'Uv'An and Mes'Ti.
2. The government of the United A'Mi Duchies also exerts supreme terratorial sovereignty over Black Island and its surrounding dependencies.
3. The government of the United A'Mi Duchies also exerts legal sovereignty over all waters of the Cur'Gas sea, until practical, and all waters of the A'Mi bay, until practical.
4. In case of interducal dispute, the territory of the disputing duchies may be specifically defined in subsequent documents (territorial amendments)
5. Territorial amendments may also be issued in the event of a territorial dispute with a foreign body.
6. In the event of the group of a section of territory would wish greatly to seperate from one duchy and be annexed by another, a territorial amendment may only be granted with a 7/10 majority in the ducal council, and with permission from the receiving duchy.
7. Under no circumstance will territorial amendments be used to grant the separation of land from the United A'Mi Duchies, except in the interest of preserving the United A'Mi duchies in a state of armed conflict.
SECTION TWO - THE ROLE OF THIS DOCUMENT
1. This document, if and only if applicable, supercedes any previous arrangements or legal documents.
2. For matters this document does not cover, the most recently ratified document may be used as an extention of this document.
3. Where, for whatever reason, the most recent ratified document is deemed unsuitable, a practical alternative may be found at the discretion of the government of the United A'Mi Duchies.
4. The rules defined in this document may only be superceded by legal amendments to this document, no third party document should stand as an independent successor to this document.
5. If such a document is instated, and the legal rules of this present document disregarded, the United A'Mi Duchies should be considered disbanded.
SECTION THREE - THE ROLE OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED A'MI DUCHIES
1. The government of the United A'Mi Duchies is represented chiefly by this document in matters relating to this documents contents, and no one entity will be able to supercede it.
2. In all other cases, the government is represented by the Archduke of the United A'Mi Duchies
3. The title Archduke of the United A'Mi Duchies is not inheritable upon ruler death or abdication by anyone other than the designated successor.
4. The successor is designated by their position as duke of the next duchy in the Archducal Cycle: Ul'As'As, Mi'Bi'Kan, Ir'Ra'Ben, Vi'Vi'Am, Co'La'Vo, Va'Von, Mi'Na'A, In'Uv'An, Mes'Ti, repeat.
5. Any breach of this succession rule is considered treason and the instigating parties will have any and all titles revoked and sentenced to death.
