History
Akane was born into a high-ranking family in Japan, and came as part of a diplomatic envoy to London. Hiram Sapie became enamored with her, and asked for her hand in marriage. Secretly, Akane always hated Hiram, and wished to move away from the dreary Victoriam City. Hiram also grew to dislike Akane as she aged, and is believed to have had many affairs.
Legal Status
Legally married
History
Sapie and Sixsmith were both involved in creating the Victoriam City, however Hiram was more involved with the relations, business, and legal aspects of the city itself. When the city was completed, Hiram took credit for the project, and although Sixsmith's name was known, he was never given credit for all the work that they did.
Relationship Reasoning
They have a strictly professional relationship, and Sixsmith greatly resents Sapie for falsely taking credit for Victoriam City.
Shared Acquaintances
America Etherington, Nicholas Fleming
History
They both worked together as Machinators, but Hiram always hated America because she was a woman who was more accomplished than he was.
