Jorunn Aleksi Nairuknuun Atuwa

A wanderer, even by Giant standards, Jorunn (more commonly referred to as Aleksi) has gone far and wide. Not intent to roam the bitter cold of Fjallsgard, he left his tribe in search of fulfillment. This journey has led him to the land of Eropei, and has seen him take on the trade of a traveling salesman.
Upon arrival in the port of Bellend (of which there was much confusion, as Giants are not only rare, they have no concept of "travel papers" or "fines") Aleksi was thrown into the unfamiliar world of modern people. Excitement filled him, the smells and stalls, the sounds of so many bustling about! This experience was so much different than living in his small secluded community.
His arrival also drew the attention of some unsavory characters as well. Clement Leroi Batard, the resident crime lord and mafioso, beckoned Aleksi to dine with him, via a messenger with a note. After reception (and the reading of the note by the messenger, since Aleksi did not read) he arrived at the "Hole In The Wall" bar that Clement frequents. Clement informed Aleksi of a business "opportunity" he could help with, involving the liberal use of his gigantic form.
Aleksi declined, in broken Common. he did not come here to fight, he explained, but to explore. To find new things, and see new places. If he had wished to have a violent lifestyle, then he would have joined the militia in Fjallsgard. This didn't please Clement, but after momentary silence, he offered another proposal to Aleksi. He would give him money, papers, and enough supplies to travel the continent. he would even keep paying Aleksi. All he had to do was report back to Clement about what he saw, and where he was going. And who knows, maybe he'd even point him in the direction of something interesting?
Aleksi agreed, and shook Clement's hand. This plan took some time, as Aleksi had to learn to write (particularly in Cant, a favorite of Clements criminal empire), but soon he was off. A pack of items, coins on his pouch, and the thrill of exploration, waiting before him.
