DISCLAIMER: The World of Ves'Dir is a work in progress. Currently, this is a place to gather our togethers, put pieces together, and create ideas. Because this is still in progress, there will be errors, issues, holes, and potentially just straight up bad things. We don't mean to offend anyone with anything, our goal is to make a world where everyone is welcome. And we will always continue to work to that goal. If you see something that's wrong, tell us. We're listening. Thank you for your patience as we continue to document this world.
There's something else. The alleys between the towering steampunk buildings in Iriden hold shadows too long and too dark. The monarchs in Venliden smile widely, speak with voices too welcoming, too friendly, too false. Despite the booming economy of Irillya does little to hide what lies beneath the draconic islands and oceans, just hoping what lies in the underdark won't ever surface. The frozen dwavern cities in Grammahg stubbornly keep their alliances broken, shatter many years ago by the traitor wizard, a legend fallen into obscurity. The still mostly untamed wilds of Biirahth hold much for the willing adventurer; monsters, fortune, opportunity. As long as no one looks too close or asks too many questions, things will go just fine.   It's the 4th Age, turned in 3A573 with the death of Krivid'iid, the god of transformation - an event brought about by his brother Iira, the god of time and leader of the pantheon through the help of his mortal champion groups named the Pendulum and the Realmstriders. While the world is still new, and still growing, it isn't as quick as it should be. Iriden has technology far beyond the scope the rest of the world but even their progress has slowed recently, barely developing beyond flint lock guns and still crudely made warforged. Besides, who knows what will change now that the first goddess Bellara has returned to the world, her sanity barely intact.   World creation in dedication to Pat Kuhns, a gifted story teller who always knew what to say and how to say it. We miss you and we love you. Thank you for sharing this world with us.
