Lahara, the goddess of water
She is the ruler of the elemental plane of water. When the material plane was created she flooded the land so that she might explore it to her hearts content. The other gods took offence to this and demanded that she undo her trickery. In then end she allowed her waters to recede enough for creatures of the land to thrive, while keeping the deepest and "most interesting" parts of the world under water.

Tenets of Faith
Any that make their living at sea are worshipers of Lahara. They teach that the oceans are her home and that one should be respectful when visiting or risk the scorn of the tidal trickster. Every port has at least a shrine or small temple to Lahara. It is customary to give an offering to the sea before setting out on a long journey or to wish for the safe return of a loved one. these are often hand crafted items such as drift wood carved into the likeness of an animal, as worshipers believe that Lahara prefers a more personal touch rather than silver or gold.
