Venetia

From the continent of Eden thousands of ships set sail for a land based only on rumors. Those who survived the dangerous oceans and monstrous monsters of the ocean found themselves in a barren desert separated from their greater Imperium and the rest of civilization. The land was a barren desert, void of natural resources and supplies, and ancient dead shambling over the sandy dunes. The colonists found their resources depleted, their magic failing them, without a central authority, and in an unexplored land.   The colonists found themselves walking among ancient ruins of a land though to have sunken under the sea thousands of years ago. The barren island was given the name Venetia, the blessed land. A land covered in strange beast folk and desert monsters, but countless ruins and secrets lay under the surface waiting to be discovered, rumored to contain untold number of enchanted artifacts and wealth.   You are one of these refugees, washed up against Venetia's desert coasts. You are hungry and alone, but Venetia will provide if you look deep enough, and this is your story. A story of survival, exploration, and colonization.
