Session 21

General Summary

After waking up in Cosades' Rest, the party has a short conversation with Hooward, who had flown there after he felt strangely attracted to the mountains by the village. He explained that for some reason it felt like he could catch the best mice there. Hooward was presented with some dried meat and ate it gratuitously, telling the party it had been a long flight.
During the conversation, a commotion was heard outside and upon investigation, the party discovered a couple of The Duke's men dragging a young village woman away, and igniting a torch to set fire to the previously repaired shrine to the Six. TT did not wait very long to react and shot an arrow at the soldier kidnapping the woman, starting a fight with the raiders. 
Grohim and Rho were not yet prepared for battle this early in the morning, and had not yet been able to don their armor as they strode into battle. It was a hard fight, complicated by the fact that one of the soldiers was a wereboar, and two of the group of companions nearly bit the dust, but due to some quick maneuvering of Rho and Grohim, they were 'just' grievously wounded and Yerin afflicted with the curse of Lycantrophy.
The local smith started freaking out at the sight of the battlefield, telling the party that the Duke would surely retaliate after his men died. He also revealed that the entire reason this turned out so bad is because they saw the repaired shrine to The Six and were told that "Blasphemers had to pay an extra tax." The party subsequently cleaned the blood and guts off of the village and took the bodies into the woods, to be left there and leaving another message signed with the name "Das Clubhaus".
TT prepared a delicious meal of chopped Wereboar steak, which was eaten by the whole party (Including Fluffy the dog), except Grohim. Nafikta took one of Hooward's feathers in the process, in exchange for a Cockatrice feather. Meanwhile, Rho and Yerin found some worn out winter's clothes, which they could use momentarily.
After the rocky start to the day, the party prepared their journey into the mountains.
