The Order of the Balanced Scale

Th Oder of the Balanced Scale are the law writers and peace keepers of Torrezon and The Valcoran Empire. They worship the God Nkosi.

Structure

While not truly a religious ordder, The Balanced Scale is ruled directly by Nkosi, who oversees and manages the writing of all laws within the empire. Beneath him, there is a multitude of titles held by others along the organisation.
The order is divided into two separate sects: Peace Keepers, and Law Writers.
The Peace Keepers are charged with stopping all crime, upholding the laws of the empire, and protecting important empire officials who do not fall under military or religious authority.
The Law Writers are required to study and learn the laws of both their local area, and the greater laws of the empire itself. Most spend their lives within the court systems, or assisting empire officials with managing various activities. They usually work closely with Order of the Ibis Feather Scribes and/or Historians.
