Osirants' Heart

Osirants' Heart is a massive lake in the center of The Middle Plains on the continent of Torrezon.

Geography

The lake itself is miles wide, and sits within a small basin in the center of the plains. The tall cliffs that border the lake on nearly all sides help to contain and shape the lake during its yearly flood, an event known as 'The Heartbeat.'

Fauna & Flora

While nearly everyone who passed through The Middle Plains stops by the lake at some point, as it is the main source of fresh water on the entire continent, most of those that live near or around the lake are descendants of the Old God Nessumonthu. Most predominant of those are the Tosculi, whose underground kingdom is said to dwell beneath the lake itself.
Many plants can be found growing near or around the lake as well, due to the ready supply of water. It is in the area near the mouth of the Flail River that most of the grassland of the plains can be found.
