Personal history

Mograine was born a farm-hand. It wasn't until he stumbled upon the eternal blade Lightbane that he would go down as one of the most influential men to walk the mortal realm. Wielding the blade and his own burning conviction, he gathered a militia of farmers and ranchers and rose up against the leviathans that ruled their province. He was the first to free his people from the Leviathans' oppression. His victory served as a message to all those in the Iron Realms: if man unites, Leviathans will fall. Upon completing the construction of Highguard with the help of his best friend Gundra, he began developing a little world safe from the oppression and corruption of man. As the Leviathans faded to dust, man became restless, and war broke out. Highguard served to protect its people from this unnecessary war. Mograine fended off invaders for decades until he finally grew desperate. A massive army, consisting of raiders of all sorts of backgrounds, gathered outside Highguard's walls. The battle was so one-sided that the invaders outnumbered Highguard's forces ten to one. Mograine's first and only child was just born, and the people of Highguard were just beginning to settle in. He could not allow Highguard to fall to oppressors. Mograine walked out of Highguard alone. He was a single man versus several thousands of bandits. The army charged at Mograine, but suddenly a flash of light broke out. A shining radiance emanated from Mograine. His blade was searing gold, and it had grown to a length and width that tripled its original demensions. But, Mograine wielded it like it was just his ordinary blade. Those who entered the light who meant him harm dropped before him, judged by the light. Those who could withstand the light, were obliterated by the cleaving of his blade. Within 30 minutes, not one man was left on that field except Mograine himself. He looked to the sky, and a beam of golden light shined upon him. Some say the face of Rhonin appeared in the sky, visible for hundreds of miles. Mograine was lifted off his feet and carried to the clouds. Another blinding flash rang out, and he was gone. He had ascended.

Education

Mograine had no education. His ability to fight was grown from his conviction alone. Some say Rhonin blessed him, others say when a man is so devoted to a cause, supernatural powers can manifest from nothing.

Employment

Born a farm-hand, his only other job was serving as King of Highguard
