Fos

Fos is an Aeoran metropolitan complex located on the northernmost shore of the Accipatrean Sea encompassing the city of Hektos as well as the Holy City of Nova Fossa. Legally these two cities are autonomous, however practically they are two parts of a whole, and are viewed as such by the people of the Consolidated Republics of Aeora. Together they are reffered to as the Bipolity of Fos, or just Fos. Fos has a population of over 400,000 by censorial roles making it the largest metropolis in the known world, and four times as large as the next largest Aeoran Polus, Megalopi

Fos is the economic, religious, and political epicenter of the Aeoran world. it is situated on a thin strip of land between the colossal Everspire Mountains and the Accipatrean Sea, which acts as a natural bottleneck from the eastern provinces to the western provinces, thus ensuring that all traffic must pass through Fos (via the Amelian Way), making it the continental economic hub of the republics by default.
The Holy City of Nova Fossa is the spiritual epicenter of Tratcual Novarianism. It is home to the Opticon, seat of the High Optaine as well as Prophet's rest the site of emergence of Nuntius Novarion and the exodites from the Way of Trials. From Nova Fossa the Optinate interprets the will of the gods and attends to the matters of the divine and the supurnatural. The majority of the Bipolity of Fos is the city of Hektos. Oldest and most revered of the Consolidated Aeoran Republics of Aeora, it was founded in the first year by Hektarion, chief warlord of Nuntius Novarion. Over the centuries the importance of Hektos has waxed and waned, but with return of Primarch Markellus Gerentus Strabo and the reinstating of Hektos as the capital of the Grand Republic of Aeora the citiy's influence has remained unquestioned. With the deposing of the last Primarch Suvidius Castor by the Optinate political power now rests in the hands of the Prima Conditori and the Bimarchs. This ruling body meets in the Conditorium atop the Hektorion Hill, and is the central political authority for the Consolidated Republics of Aeor. Elected Conditors assemble from all corners of the republics to manage elect provincial magistrates, legislate executive law and govern the republics.

  Seven Stone

  Seven Stone is a district in the Bipolity of Fos. It is the main residential district of Fos, with a population of over 142,000 by censorial roles. The district is centered around and island complex and punctuated by the seven collapsed foundational stones of a great elven tower, long destroyed.
