Gods of Varaxia

Varaxia is home to many deities, each serving an essential function within the world. These deities are divided into three different categories:
The Primordial Dragons serve as the very fabric of the universe itself, their immense power being the source of all of the basic building blocks that make up Varaxia. It is believed that should any of their number die, the aspect of the world which they represent would also die with them.
The Mortal Gods, ascended from the among the ranks of the living, serve as representations of core concepts in the world. Time, law, art, these are only a few of the ideas that have brought new gods into being. Many stories exist. That should one of these deities be slain, the spark of divinity within them will seek out a new host.
Finally, the champions represent other, lesser, more specific ideas. Races, inventions, although not every one of these has their own champion, occasionally one will rise up, with their power waxing or waning according to the prayers of the populace.
