Mage King Leotheric
Mage King, His Majesty, Hero of Garvendale, Leotheric (a.k.a. Leo Therion)
The Mage King Leotheric is not only the King of one of the most powerful forces in Vaotania, in his youth, he was also a warrior and magician of legend. In his (relative) short time of heroic activity, he accomplished a great amount. In his early years, he spent time as an adventurer in which he did many good deeds and made many enemies, then shortly after he returned home to lead his father's military.
Potentially his greatest feat was battling off the infernal army of Love of the Ten Commandments at the age of 35. He showed great magical power by defeating a majority of the army on his own. He even battled the devil Love himself, after a long three days of fighting the devil retreated back through the portal from whence it came. Leotheric was celebrated as a hero and was shortly after crowned the Mage King after the death of his father. After that battle Leotheric has never participated in a single battle, mostly remaining in his home of the Crystalline Palace. It was also soon recognized that he had completely stopped aging and has not since.

Personal history
Leotheric was born to the Second Mage King as the Second Mage Prince, and from a young age showed many extraordinary traits, including intellect, strength, and magical ability. He lived the sheltered life of a prince, and he grew to despise it. So, desiring to see the world outside he ran away from home at the age of 17 to become an adventurer. During this period Leotheric went by the name Leo Therion and after a few years of saving villages by himself, he settled with a group of adventurers to work alongside. This group did a great many things but there growing list of deeds was finalized with the first death of the Great Necromancer Mordeo in 877 Yulith at the hands of Leotheric, who was also the only remaining member of the party.
After this Leotheric returned home, into the loving arms of his father, who upon hearing of his deeds appointed him as the head of the military for the Free Cities of Mages. Throughout the next fourteen years, he carried out the will of the cities and brought peace through his forces to a great many nations. His greatest feat during this period was his victory over the devil Love of the Ten Commandments at Garvendale that ended the Hell's Third Invasion of Vaotania. After the defeat of the forces he and his army faced nearby, he brought his the Garvendale to aid his father, only to find his father died at the hands of Love. Shortly he was the survivor and he defied all odds and fought back the horde and had his legendary battle with Love, ending with only the two of them surviving and retreating.
After this Leotheric was crowned the Third Mage King. He has not participated in a battle since that day nor has he left the Crystalline Palace or aged at all. One of his first and most important acts was establishing the power of the seven Archmages and the courts, shifting power away from the throne. And from that day forward he has remained the mage King for nearly five hundred years, fading into the background and remaining nothing more than a figurehead and a living legend.
