What is the forbidden act:
The forbidden act is the transfusion from vampire blood into a human body. So that the human can become a vampire themself.
Why?:
Nobody knows why vampires are compelled to do that. Maybe they fell in love with a human and can't bare to lose them. Or they are paid to do it. However, the reasons are different the risk is great.
How?:
The human needs to be on the brink of death. This can be by disease or when they lost a lot of blood. Old age however is not a perfect condition to transform. The vampire take a gut of a sheep, now a sterile infuse tube and a big needle in a vein. He or she needs to sit or lay higher than the human so the blood can take the easy way down. The vampire need to watch him or her self, because they are giving blood they can feel feint. So it is important that they keep on drinking.
Risks:
Because the blood is mixed there are risk involved. The human heart can reject the vampire blood, so they (humans) died sooner than expected. But if the heart except the blood the human needs guides in to this new world. The vampire body rejects normal food, so if the vampire donor leaves the just transformed human they (human) can die from food poisoning.
So why is it a forbidden act?:
It is a forbidden act because of the risks involved. Also, to protect the human and the vampire involved.
Consequences:
When the act is still procided, the vampires will frown upon the once how committed to the Taboo. Also, when the newly transformed vampire will not be tolerated in the community. Unless the head of a Noble family adopted the new vampire.
Why has there be a
consequence, if it fails the human dies. If it works there is a new vampire. The only thing I want is that somebody with a medical degree is there when it happens.— Jorin Barnier
Last time performed:
The last time this forbidden act was preformed was under the careful watch of a doctor. Only the human was so far gone that nothing could be done. The human died and not short after the vampire donor died of the disease where the human was severing from. The doctor that had the two in his care quite his job, and want to stay anonymize.
