This is the year that Gevurah fell, as recorded by the Nelqorana.

Gevurah fled from the burning hands of Uziel, but, as the shadow of the world-serpent fell, he threw himself from the high halls of Heaven and tumbled to the earth like a meteor. He crashed into the ocean, causing great waves to rise and fall upon the shores, and sank to the bottom, where he was bound and sealed behind the Gates of Night.   This event marks the beginning of history and the dissipation of the Elves.
