Many have sought the Wand of the Lifegiver under the false impression given by its name. Aara, the Goddess of Life and Creation, sacrificed her physical body to infuse all living beings with a chance to exist and thrive. The wand is what remains of her departing gift -- the tree from which she birthed the island of Sucar and the whole of the world, and whose petals bloomed into the first Sucari. Aara, in giving herself to the cycle of nature, was no stranger to death. And, as such, the wand in her name honors the balance between the sky and the sea, the depths and the heights, of the natural order of life and death. It is not your power to declare what should and should not be. You are merely the vessel of equilibrium, as am I.

In Valleris, the most well-practiced magical scholars have discussed tales and theories about the existence of the fabled Wand of the Lifegiver. The believability of such an item existing fluctuates from person to person. Some enjoy talking about it in the same way that one would enjoy a fairytale with a moral. Others have extensively discussed this with their peers, and still others have pushed so far as to journey to the island nation of Sucar to seek out this artifact. Necromancers, in particular, have been interested in such an artifact. They believe that the wand would give them the power to breathe life into just about anything, without the tedious and painstaking rituals of raising the dead. It would elevate the necromantic practice to a new pinnacle that could have never been imagined before.
None have been successful in recovering such a wand, however. To be frank, the secret is not theirs to have. In the eyes of the
Archdruid of Harmony, one of only three Archdruids in the world of Valleris, these seekers of the wand are misguided by the wand's "legendary" name and their lack of understanding, compassion, and respect for the balance of nature. The true powers of the Wand of the Lifegiver are kept well hidden from those unworthy of its weight and value.
