Lockport

Lockport is famed for harboring the less desirable of Valanis. Serving as the main port city of the eastern coast its a bustling city that prides itself on the ideals of freedom and wit. Everywhere you look you can see pirates and merchants, thieves and craftsman each trying to make their way. Though it was once one of the richest settlements in the land after Captain Harvick Fashad took control the capitol pulled nearly all support from the city and the traders union cut all ties with the businesses there. Despite this boycott and the financial difficulties it has caused the citizens never swayed in their loyalty, choosing freedom and fairness over money and political power. This is not to say that Lockport lacks laws but, compared to other areas of the country they choose reform and understanding over punishment and judgement in the majority of cases.

Government

The city is ran similarly to privateer ships. The captain of the city may lead them but, every person has a vote and should they find the captain incapable to lead to their liking they are welcomed to overthrow his rule, voting in a new leader in his place.
