Midgäarth
Demographics
Midgäarth is a very cosmopolitan town, home of the second largest dwarf population in the empire.
The dwarves are by far the largest part of town's inhabitants being nearly eighteen thousand strong. Most of them working in the gigantic forge complex.
The rest of the town population is mostly a mix of humans, elves and halves-human but they are more unusual inhabitants namely nearly six hundred Atlas, nearly three hundred Stonechilds and a small halflings community.
Midgäarth is also home to a small choir of Asimars which make it one of the only two places in the empire with permanent Asimars resident.

Government
While technically still under the dominions of the empire and possessing all imperial order of power, including a bourgmestre Midgäarth is effectively under the control of The Order of the Bloodied Fist and their leader, Ulfric IronHand is the de facto King of Midgäarth.
The Order ensures both the safety and justice system of the town and it's external defenses needs, serving as the army of Midgäarth.
