Motor City
Terrible that you can’t make it, but let me at least tell you where I got those cars from. I’ve always said that the best cars come from Motor City, amazing place. Thousands, maybe tens of thousands, even, of every ground vehicle you’ve ever laid eyes on and more besides. Tanks, tracks, sports cars, military vehicles, all sorts. They travel in an absolutely massive area, sometimes splitting into smaller groups when times get tough, but mostly trading with the Lakes in the summer and heading to the oil fields down south in the winter. I don’t know how they do it exactly, but I think they grow some crops in the larger vehicles.
Anyway, some of the best drivers come from there, ‘round these parts anyways. That fella that won the big Vegas race last year? One of ‘em. Shame what happened to him after though. Terrible accident, had no idea a fountain could make that big of a fireball.
They also mod their cars and such. Ever seen a tank with a Nitro engine? I have, and it’s shockingly fast for something so large.
Watch out for pirates where you’re heading, I hear they’re getting bad this year.

Public Agenda
To survive the end of civilization by taking up nomadic ways in motor vehicles.
Assets
Motor City is in possession of a massive number and variety of ground vehicles, as well as mining facilities in Kentucky, Oil Fields in Texas, and several wayrests that are generally well supplied with machinery
Demography and Population
The population of Motor City fluctuates, as it is fairly common for smaller groups to split off for as many as a year or two, but the total generally stays around 200.000.
Territories
The only permanently held territories are Dallas and the oil fields to the southeast and a mining community in Kentucky.
Military
The military of Motor City is fairly informal, as most adults can be called upon to defend the city when under in attack due to the wide array of weapons scavenged over the years, as well as the well-maintained collection of military vehicles.
Technological Level
At a crossroads between the high-tech New Orleans, the well-educated Lakes Confederacy, and their own traditional knowledge of machinery repair, the technological level of Motor City can primarily be described as "eclectic."
Religion
Motor Dualism is almost omnipresent in Motor City, and while the Councils are thematically named, religion does not have an excessive influence upon their decisions.
People of other religions are generally tolerated, with the exception of Dragon influenced religions and the strange spirituality of the Salem Witches.
Foreign Relations
Motor City has an informal alliance with the Lakes Confederacy due to mutually beneficial trade and general lack of competition.
Agriculture & Industry
With the exception of oil refining and the necessary industry to replace solar panels and car parts when needed, Motor City has little industrial power.
Agriculture is mostly done on the small-scale, with each individual Model generally finding some way to produce crops with what they have.
Trade & Transport
Motor City is based on movement, travelling to the north in the spring and summer, before returning to Dallas by February each year.
Trade is done with the Lakes Confederacy for fresh water and some fruit in exchange for Zinc and oil, and with New Orleans for sugar, tropical fruit, and some harder to find minerals in exchange for small quantities of oil, smaller quantities of goods from the Lakes Confederacy, and weaponry.
Education
Education is mostly done through an oral tradition passed down from the elders, as well as more complex knowledge acquired from a vast quantity of surprisingly well preserved auto manuals.

Legislative Body
The Dual Councils, the Council of the Sun and the Council of the Deep Fire meet separately once a month to bring forth issues that their people have brought to them individually. Generally there is very little legislated until the February Conclave where the two Councils meet while Motor City rests in Dallas.
The members of the Council are generally the eldest member of their Model.
Judicial Body
The members of the Councils act as arbiters of conflicts between the people in their Model.
