Georgian Mutants
The original “Battle Mutants” were experiments by the United States during the days of the Last War, suspected to be a rival program of the “Desert Lizards”. They demonstrate regenerative capabilities, enhanced strength, and weaponized claws. Our estimates put their numbers at nearly 30000, making them the most populous non-insectoid mutant in North America. They have spread fairly evenly since the Last War, and they can reproduce, though many were originally produced through cloning, making genetic diversity of purebred specimens extremely low. The largest population in a single place can be found in Chicago, the capital of the Great Lakes Union, where it is estimated at least 1000 inhabit. The original testing lab for the “Battle Mutants” has likely been destroyed, but is estimated to have been near Atlanta. Our newest findings have determined that they can interbreed with standard humans. Claws and enhanced strength appear to be recessive, but fortunately for the Draconic Soldier program, the enhanced healing and regeneration were expressed fully in nine out of ten subjects. Further research on introducing this capability to the Draconic Soldiers has priority level 4. Alternatively, locating the original testing facility and retrieving direct experimental data would hasten our current experiments.

Basic Information
Anatomy
Primarily humanoid, with some changes in the hands to facilitate retractable claws.
Superlative regenerative capabilities
Generally physically stronger than normal Humans
Biological Traits
The regenerative capabilities take a toll on the lifespan of these mutants, reducing their average lifespan by several years, even without extensive use of their abilities. Those that use their abilities very often may live as few as 35 years.
Genetics and Reproduction
As stated above, they can reproduce with each other, or with normal humans.
Their strength and natural weapons tend to not be expressed if both parents are not mutants
Regeneration is usually expressed by descendants regardless of parenthood
Additional Information
Social Structure
Generally adopted into other societies
Facial characteristics
Very mild reptilian characteristics
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Primarily North America, Eastern Seaboard and Great Lakes
Average Intelligence
Humanoid
Civilization and Culture
Major Organizations
Lakes Confederacy
Motor City
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Southern English
History
Fleeing from a series of secret research laboratories in Georgia, the so-called "Battle Mutants" spread throughout the remnants of North America. They have been aggressively persecuted in the remnants of the United States due to being genetic experiments, and as such are strangely absent from the area of their creation as a species. A sizable community has arisen in the Lakes Confederacy, at least comparatively.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Often required due to the lack of genetic diversity among the mutants, due to the cloning process
Genetic Ancestor(s)
Scientific Name
Homo sapiens regeneratus
Origin/Ancestry
Primarily Caucasian
Lifespan
55 Years
Average Height
1.9 meters, roughly half a meter more than the human average
Average Weight
80 kg
Average Physique
Above Human Average
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Oftentimes, these mutants have a green tint, particularly where patches of scales grow
