Generally humanoid, but genetically and magically engineered to be amphibious, which gives them some fish or amphibian-like features depending upon caste

All Atlanteans are amphibious, and there are futher differences based on caste
Atlanteans also have a biological tendency to develop psychic abilities more often than most others due to their long relationship with the Krakens

Atlanteans mostly develop at the same rate as humans, with some minor variances by caste

While they prefer living underwater, particularly in shallow water relatively close to land, they can survive at fairly deep depths, as well as live on land with no negative effects

Atlanteans have a caste system based on centuries of genetic engineering. At the top is the Ruling caste, followed by the foolish yet entertaining Noble caste, then the extremely knowledgeable but unambitious Scientist caste, followed by the practical Merchant caste, and finally the Warrior and Labor castes.

Atlanteans primarily inhabit the ocean to the west of Gibraltar, with worldwide outposts, as well as a large banished population in the Lakes Confederacy
