Fey-native berries that are uniquely poisonous. Victims suffer from hallucinations of their past.
Found in specific regions of the Feywild, these leafy bushes are infamous for their magical fruit.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Recurrent bushes grow to a height of about three feet, their leafy crowns often intertwining with other, larger shrubs. Their leaves are round, no more than a few inches across, but the plant is deciduous, usually turning to brown and falling to the ground when the Autumn Court is in seat. Their very pale, purple blossoms are small and have five petals, blooming on drooping racemes roughly five inches long. The berries produced are nearly spherical, a deeper, pearlescent purple and are half an inch in diameter.
Ecology and Habitats
Recurrants thrive naturally in the verdant, temporate sections of the Feywild, particularly within The Hedge. They are also cultivated in many gardens and allotments within the plane. They fail to grow outside of the Feywild, but limited successes have been achieved using arcane means.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
The bushes are most famous for their berries - the recurrants themselves - which have magical properties. Those who eat the berries succumb to hallucinations formed from their memories, usually becoming indisposed for the duration. These berries can be distilled into poison, fermented into wine and are the main ingredient in Echo Pastries.
While the flowers are not toxic on their own, they may be used as an alchemical ingredient in a similar fashion to the berries. Skilled perfumers are able to formulate intriguing fragrances with hints of nostalgia and familiarity.

When a creature consumes these berries, they must make a DC12 Willpower saving throw or suffer from hallucinations of their memories for 1 hour. During this effect, they are considered incapacitated and will meander aimlessly until they return to normal.
A large handful of pale purple, pearlescent berries that grow in clustered racemes on leafy bushes. Recurrants are native to the Feywild and fill the surrounding area with gently comforting - though unrecognisable - smells.
