Uredin

The realm of Uredin is a fantastical land. There are great number of races that live in this fantasy world, such as the Gnomes, Halflings and Dragonborn just to name a few. But amoungst these races, 3 rose up to create the great empires of Uredin. These are the Dwarves, the Elves and the Humans.

The Dwarves live peacefully in the mountains, and used their magics to create a great empire underneath the earth and claimed it's riches hidden in the rock.

The Elves thrived in the forests, creating a massive floating city in the trees, tasking themselves with healing the worlds ancient scars, and preserving the balance of nature.

And the humans, a young race, who have risen in the plains to build a glorious empire of stone, where they pursue noble self interests, focusing on trade, family and wealth.

But as hundreds of years passed, the lessons of history begun to be forgotten, and their lessons lost. Corrupt Politicians, Tyranical leaders, and Greedy Businessmen rise up to grasp more power and to gain more wealth at any opportunity. Criminal gangs, Rogue Sage's and Strange religious cults now run foul and uncontested as the Dwarven and Human Empire's do little to stop them. Monsters and strange beasts have also begun roaming more brazenly, aggressively attacking travelers and settlements.

In wake of this, the Elven Empire begun to keep their distance from the others. Only engaging in diplomacy and trade when it was unavoidable. This resulted in the Human and Dwarven Empires to consider Elves as Arrogant, and unreliable. Some settlements even exiled the elves from their town. [/br] So when the Elven empire were asked to share knowledge of ancient events by the Human Empire, who were making an attempt to stop a criminal organision on their lands. The Elves refused, believing the other races to be irresponsible, too impulsive and inclined to fall for greed and corruption as they quench their thirst for power.
The Humans suffered subsequent losses to the criminal organisation, losing entire settlements as they were burned to the ground by the group. The Human Empire blamed their losses on the Elves, and blockaded trade going in and out of the forrests, effectively cutting the elves off from the rest of the realm.

Today, the Elven Empire is mostly unheard of, though a few Elves still inhabit the plains and mountains. The Dwarven Empire continues to focus on hoarding the wealth they claim from the darkness of the mountain, and the Human Empire struggles with new political groups vying for control of it's democracy. Neither of the 3 Empires have noticed the evil growing amoungst it.
