Resupply vessel

Out here where there's no natural resources, people rely soley on imports from other places. Without them, we'd be dead. Even the children know what it means when the Resups arrive.
Resupply vessels are space shuttles sent to a place without access to a material, such as a populated but non-terraformed planetary body, for example Mercury or Ceres. They are often sent from nearby planets and planemos, such as the Venus, Terra and Luna for Mercury, and Io, Europa and Mars for Ceres. Some are also sent to asteroids with a scientist population.   Other resources are also sent, such as material needed for luxuries, as these can rarely be produced on the planet. Sometimes processed goods are also sent, for example clothes, toothbrushes, soap and other products, both necessary and unnecessary.   In return, the vessels normally take back some form of energy produced on the planet, for example, Europa's Ceres supply vehicle demands that the solar energy produced on Ceres is used to re-power the vessels for return. Whilst the Mercurian government is normally fine with this payoff, the Ceresian one is normally less accepting of this, especially as there are still feelings of resentment to other places due to the Ceres terraforming disaster, which Ceresians often blame on other planets.
