Unsung Heroes Tales of Dinrion
Well hey there. I see we got ourselves a fresh batch of adventurers here. Well, you may want to know a bit of the history of our little world here and why we got so many floating islands up here above the blacken ash clouds in the sky.
Over 900 years ago, we all lived on the surface of this world. And from what I know, things got bad pretty fast. You see, the nations of the world were at war and the gods and devils were fighting on the surface. And then, the Great Catastrophe began. No one knows how, but, the sky filled with black ash, covering the world. The dark elves took this chance to invade the surface, fighting intensified and, when you think things couldn't get worse, an undead plague swept across the land. So, all out Armageddon from the looks of it.
Things looked grim, but then Vaendira, probably one of the few goddesses not busy with the war, stepped in to actually help out the small folk. She broke multiple pieces of the surface and rose it above the ash clouds. And that's where we're at now. Alot has happened since then, but that's up to find out, if you want that is.
There's been plenty of adventurers before you, and will be plenty after you, heading out to make a name for themselves out here. Will you make a name for yourself out here in the new world, search for our lost history below on the surface, or just fill in another unmarked grave like so many others? Hmph, who's to say, so get out there and find your own path.
