United Dome Communities

New York City May 10th, 1953   A group of powerful and influential men and women congregated in the city of New York. The meeting was led by the famous industrial designer Raymond Loewy. The subject of the meeting concerned nuclear warfare.   These amazing men and women were tasked with concocting a plan to save humanity in the event of nuclear war. The result of their work was the UDC, also known as the United Dome Communities. All across the world, massive dome cities were constructed with the purpose of housing millions of people. Gigantic train lines were built between the domes, for ease of transport between them.   Then, on July 3rd, 2038, the bombs fell on the world. People were shipped to the domes by the train load as soon as the bombs were launched. The dust and smoke blocked out the sun, and the world began to freeze. The only remaining piece of civilization was the UDC.   It didn't take long for the world outside to be ravaged by the raiders and bandits of the wasteland, and they soon turned their sights on the domes. Bombings, terrorist attacks, rebellions, and bandit raids soon befell the UDC. So, the Mastodons were born. Collosal trains that could defend against and attack the bandits and raiders of the wasteland.   The men and women of the United Dome Communities Railways are always at work to protect humanity.
