Dining out in Ilyrium
There are a plethora of restaurants in Ilyrium; because the witches of United Britannia and Hibernia value their leisure time, many witches dine out or join friends for a drink several times a week. While bars are not typically separated by class, restaurants almost always are. The most popular restaurants and pubs are listed below. (*=price, from lowest to highest)
Bacchus**
[main article]A pub that serves all manners of alcoholic drinks and small meals/snacks.
Lunch features: Sausage roll; pork pie
Dinner features: Fish and chips; shepherd's pie; Cornish pasty
Bones*
A pub with a staunch reputation of good alcohol and terrible food; a common proverb is: "If you're enjoying the food at Bones, it's time to go home!"
Caesar's*****
Caesar's only entertains the wealthiest of clientele; reservations must be made months in advance and an unknown client would be investigated before being allowed to dine here. The menu changes frequently and is kept secret.

Clark Gardens***
Clark Gardens has a full alcohol and food menu; this is considered a more upper-class restaurant for the middle class and lower middle class. Clark Gardens offers a full Sunday tea and many unique menu items.
Lunch features: Welsh rarebit; smoked and confit duck salad
Dinner features: Middlewhite pork chops in apple and wine jus; flat iron steak with bearnaise sauce and salad
Tea: Variety of teas with sandwiches, scones, trifles, and tarts
Corians**
A Hibernian-based restaurant for those that miss Hibernia.
Lunch features: Irish burger with crisps; bangers and mash
Dinner features: Irish stew with bread; beef and Guinness casserole with potatoes and garlic bread
Dahlia's**
A bar that caters to a younger crowd, Dahlia's also serves a full dinner menu, although often with an eclectic twist.
Dinner menu: A variety of sushi; Thai red curry; pirogis; dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms; lamb or vegetable samosas; smoked chicken and BBQ pizza; Hawaiian pizza with ham and pineapple
Eclipse***
A more upscale bar that serves only the most unique cocktails.
Flood's**
A restaurant for the common man (or woman). Full alcohol and food menu and popular with the middle-class and lower middle-class.
Lunch features: Ploughman's lunch with roll; herb chicken with rice and chips
Dinner features: Chicken curry served over chips with naan bread; lamb stew served in Yorkshire pudding
Gates**
A full restaurant that caters to families. Only beer is served here. A special kids' menu is also offered.
Lunch features: Yorkshire pudding with sausages and gravy; Cornish pasties with peas
Dinner features: Cottage pie topped with mash and gravy; steak and mushroom (or kidney) pie
Holt's**
Holt's is a solid middle-class restaurant, serving hearty food and even heartier alcohol. Many people stop on their way home to grab a beer and a steak and meal.
Lunch features: Cheddar cheese and pickle sandwich with crisps; roast beef sandwich with horseradish and crisps
Dinner features: Sunday roast with potatoes, vegetables, and gravy; full English breakfast (served all day)
Juniper Heights***
[main article]An upscale restaurant with magicked nature all around it; those that love spending time outside get the best of both worlds with Juniper Heights, which serves beer, some hard liquor, and full menu.
Lunch features: Potted shrimp with toast; fig salad with cheese and almonds
Dinner features: Roast duck breast with mushrooms and onions with parsley mash; roast turbot with spinach, peas, and Hollandaise
Njord's**
A bar that stands out for serving beers from all over the world; a small menu is also kept to help alleviate some of the worst hangovers from the night before.
Peregrine's*****
Peregrine's is only for the most elite of diners; reservations must be made to dine here as well as a monetary deposit to ensure the wealth of the customers. The menu changes daily.

Pluto's****
An upscale restaurant for the wealthy, Pluto's serves only the most refined alcohol and food.
Lunch features: Mackerel with miso aubergine sauce; duck with almonds, cherries, and onion puree
Dinner features: Halibut with lemon thyme, pistachios, and olives; lamb chops with sausage courgette couscous and red pepper coulis

The menu features were taken from a variety of restaurants in London, including Wolseley, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Brazen Head, Rules, Launceston Place, and Celeste. I am not British, so please forgive me for any errors!
