Dark Deck

The so-called "Dark Deck" (so nicknamed by Cian Ryan) is a Tarot card deck found by Vesper Cross in an old book he accidentally acquired. There is no research or literature on the Dark Deck, and so all of the knowledge Vesper and Cian gain is through magical means.[
The Dark Deck has the same number of tarot cards as a normal tarot card deck, but all of the designs and names are gruesome and grisly.

There was only seven cards in the deck, so I spread them out so I could see each one. As usual, the back was the same design, so I flipped them to the other side. I knew Tarot decks better than just about anything, but I didn’t see the usual Moons or The Hanging Man or a Six of Swords. No, the designs on here were completely and utterly different than any I had other seen before. On the top of each card, in red script, were the titles, but they were written in a language I didn’t recognize. Even so, I knew they had nothing to do with moons or hanging men.
“These come from Dark Magic, don’t they?”
Vesper’s eyebrows raised a little, like he was surprised I would know that. “Yeah. Definitely. What tipped you off?”
“Just a bad feeling,” I answered. Hm. Maybe he would start taking me seriously when he saw how strong my Psychic Magic was…
“Oh. I thought maybe it was the picture of a man being quartered or the demon eating a child,” Vesper said dryly.
