Nomrik of Hyke and Berli
Nomrik of Hyke and Berli
Nomrik of Hyke and Berli was an erg miner, famous for surviving one of the biggest accidents in modern history. He was rude, beligerent, idiotic, and excessively egotistical; but he was also credited with rescuing two of his crewmates.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
He was a fit and healthy man, to assist in his egotism. He was fairly weak however, and couldn't do much heavy lifting. The accident took a lot of his health away from him, and he died to corrective surgical complications.

Personal history
Nomrik was born into squalor, with a father that didn't want him and a mother that thought too highly of him. From a young age, he was pushed towards the mining profession. However, his understanding of the technology and skill required, proved he lacked the aptitude for it. That didn't stop him from joining up with a truck as soon as he was able.
He was dropped off at the nearest port, with the caveat that he never set foot on that truck again. He took it as a lack of connection between himself and the driver, and got onto another truck. A dozen trucks later, some more willing to put up with him than others, he found himself on the fateful voyage that defined him.
Aboard the Grasher, he was a scooper operator. For once, something bad happening wasn't his fault. The truck hit a nemal rise while driving in a convoy, and the whole thing took a tumble into another truck. He was one of a handful of survivors, two other of which he rescued. This earned him recognition as the "hero of the Grasher incident".
His injuries put him into a hospital, and he sadly never checked out. He died to his injuries after surgical complications a few months later.
