The Solar System - The Planets

The first and main planet is Camoray. Camoray is roughly 40,000 miles around at the equator with a radius of over 6000 miles. While it is a larger world than our Earth, it is mostly a water world, at least more so than Earth. From some angles, it is possible to see only a hint of land.
Overall, due to the increased size, the mass is about 25% greater. Naturally, all the inhabitants have adapted appropriately to the higher gravity.
The distance of Camoray is a lot closer than the three suns should be allowed. The period of revolution for the planet is 572 days (with each day being about 25 hours long.) This puts Seriat at about half the size of the Earth’s sun as seen from the surface. (In actuality, the distance of Camoray would need to be about 26 AU minimum not to become a cooked cinder. At that distance, a year would be roughly every 80 to 90 Earth years. Suffice it to say, some magic is involved in this process. Some theorize that the bright Aurora’s at the poles have something to do with a solar energy to magic conversion. Ramian Fax actually teaches that this is where his divine might comes from.)
Camoray is tilted on its axis by an almost identical amount to Earth, indicating it experiences seasons in the middle latitudes similarly.
The solar system itself has four known planets. Camoray is the first. The other three are a considerable distance out and difficult to see most times of the year. Due to their distance and overall lack of interest in by scholars, several names have been adopted for all three. The 2nd planet is actually referred to commonly as King Ordaliss at the Academy. The 2nd planet is a large rocky planet of about twice the mass as Camoray. The third and fourth planets are considerably more distance and are both gas giants. Neither is visible to the naked eye.
