Tapberry

These berries are cultivated by some races for their unique taste. Evening while the berry is still ripening, a few of its seeds will start to break down and ferment creating a small amount of methanol within the berry.
While the berries are toxic to humans and elves, both dwarves and orcs share a resistance to the fermenting berries. Their bodies are able to safely break the methanol down.
Dwarves are not all that fond of the berry, however, orcs enjoy the tapberry and commonly use it for tart deserts like tapberry pie.
