Mid Year Revel Dress of Color Matching

While Imokan felt the need to gift all of her employees with a Revel gift, a gift came from the Winter Queen’s court for Aja. Despite her dislike of the Fey, Imokan acknowledged this gift by not competing. Of course, as she hand-delivered the package to Aja, Imokan mentioned that she would not be gifting Aja as this might be seen as an insult to the Winter Queen were she to hint that Aja was in her employ.
This beautiful dress possesses the unique ability to cause all other cloth items worn by the user to change colors to match the dress to best effect. It will work on leather items also. The only items it doesn’t work on are those made of metal and stone.
The dress itself is of thick, brocaded silk of a dusky blue, cut separately into two pieces. The first is a bodice with a modest neckline, high waist, and a scalloped edge. It is notable for having only a left sleeve, perhaps indicating that the original owner required unconstrained movement of her right hand at all times. The skirts are loose and flowing, adorned at the waist with blue-green ferns that shimmer in the light. The ankle-length hem of the skirt is heavily embroidered with shafts of an unfamiliar, golden grain that appear to sway as the skirts move. Most notable, however, are the asymmetric epaulets which nearly encircle the wearer's neck and are shaped and layered as if to mimic moth wings edged in gold. Into the underside of the shoulder piece are sewn a dozen or more orange and gold feathers that contrast starkly with the blue silk of the rest of the garment.
