Mashrac - Sharlashtri Bodyguard

And elven Sharlashtri. One of Artyhon's two bodyguards.
Garbed in tight leather slacks with high boots and a thin clothed jerkin belted at the waist, he walked with a ginger step, always at the ready with his eyes in constant motion and his head fluidly moving back and forth as he scanned his surroundings for danger. His pointed ears and long golden hair tied back into a single lock of hair along with his slanted eyes gave no mistake to his elven lineage. To most only his height, about half a foot shorter than the average elf betrayed that he was also of the shorter human descent. Mashrac’s choice of weapons was a true oddity for his order, for in his left hand, always at the ready, was a magnificent rapier with a filigreed hilt of gold. The blade was of the darkest black. It almost looked to be a thin slice of emptiness, not even reflecting the brightest lights. What made the blade odd was that a rapier was almost never seen in the hands of a Sharlashtri as the time honored traditional weapons of most Sharlashtri were the Katana and the Wakizashi, neither of which he carried.
