List of Western Elf Tribes
Focus is Canton.
Note – Isolated tribe generally means they don’t have much to do with neighboring tribes. Limited trade, rarely intermarry. Most Isolated tribes tend to have few members under 50 years old as children are rare.
Canton – Typical tribe. Used to be known for feather magics. Morvion’s home tribe.
Bottleus (moonrunners)– Another typical tribe except they have taboos against wandering in the day time. Day sleepers.
Cazzadan – River tribe. Known for providing safe travels across the Zyagarosse. Also known for various strange potions.
Darroquios – Larger tribe – known for worm and caterpillar magic.
Dysaliea – Typical tribe. Song magic. Most are musicians – much of it natural voice.
Elderoc – Typical tribe, make use of specialized pigment and color magic.
Eratos – Typical tribe. Hunters of the plains.
Eritasho – Fishing tribe – north side of the river. Known for fish bone magics used in creating luck charms and slight divination magics.
Festus – A highly magical tribe. Known for long meditations. Vegetarian – rarely hunt, rarely interact though always friendly.
Garusta – Typical tribe – use a rare form of bark magic. Largely the magic serves as pieces of art.
Gasan - Torya worshipers – masters of plant magics.
Karymacy - Hunter tribe – go after only the biggest game. More or less nomadic. Their tree homes are mobile, rarely making permanent structures.
Katukinos – Isolated tribe.
Kerlostra – Ancient meeting place of the tribes. That history is largely lost, now known mostly as one of the tribes which hunts Banshee spiders. Also known as a tribe with some of the most advanced spell casters – their blood is magic itself according to local legends. Their tribe can also make heartstones.
Levgorsera - Typical Tribe
Linsterata - First tribe visited by party. About 50 miles west of Chrailis - it is the end of the citified tribes, beginning of the wild tribes.
Mac Roget – Ancient tribe – possibly one of the first. Possibly connected to distant cousins of an elf sub-species from another world or continent. Known as extremely long lived, they never intermarry with other tribes. However they travel the other tribes and are always learning. Known for great wisdom and knowledge, though they have strange customs as to how and why they will divulge such knowledge.
Magada - Typical tribe
Plaquin – An isolated tribe – also rumored to be cannibalistic of all spell casters, even their own children.
Qualas - Elven lycanthrope tribe – several members are werejags. Not all, but they are led by the lycanthropes.
Quartan – Isolated tribe. Some say isolated due to a reoccurring disease they carry.
Ravik – Typical tribe.
Scenteez – Typical tribe.
Skortzinae - Typical tribe.
Uliciea - Isolated tribe – not fully elven. Possibly have a lot of human or fey bred in. Interact with they fey more than other elves.
Vanu – Sky elves, they live only in the highest levels of the trees. Rarely descend below 300’. All members know a specialized gliding cantrip which they use along with large green cloaks to stay in the treetops. Rarely ever come to ground, and when they do, never in daylight. They do not consider the ground part of their territory.
